Carolyn Helmlinger is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Mid-America Group. Helmlinger joined Mid-America in 1999 and under her leadership Coldwell Banker Mid-America Group, Realtors® more than tripled its market share. Now Helmlinger oversees the day-to-day activities of Mid-America Group as well as Grubb & Ellis Mid|America Commercial and Coldwell Banker Mid-America Group, REALTORS. Prior to joining Mid-America Group, Helmlinger was a Vice-President with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation. Carolyn and her team are committed to a philosophy of excellence in service and product.

Larry Cedarstrom serves as President and Sales Manager of Mid·America Commercial Real Estate; joining the company in 2006. Larry comes to Mid·America Commercial Real Estate with a background of over 30 years in commercial brokerage both as a practicing agent and agent manager. Larry's expertise in all areas of commercial real estate has earned him the respect of the commercial brokerage community.

Hank Anderson, a native of Mason City, has been in the real estate industry for two decades. He joined Mid-America Group from Regency Companies where he was the Director of Finance. Prior to Regency Anderson worked as the Director of Financial Reporting for Commercial Real Estate at Principal Financial Group. Hank graduated from the University of Iowa with degrees in Finance and Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accounts and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


Steven M. Coleman

Steve Coleman has been with Mid-America since 1985. He has responsibility for property management and coordinates the design and approval processes for construction of industrial and office buildings. He also manages land development projects. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Central Iowa.

Julie has 20 years plus experience in real estate marketing and has more enthusiasm than the day she started. For nine years at Coldwell Banker Mid-America Group, Realtors®, she headed up a top notch creative team of graphic artists and marketing specialists with a philosophy and dedication to partnering with the sales associates to increase their effectiveness and therefore grow and strengthen the company. Together they created marketing strategies that got results. Julie is now focusing her energy at Mid-America Group on developing the company brands and increasing the awareness of the Mid-America Group and all it subsidiaries.
