Marvin A. Pomerantz Chairman and CEO. MPomerantz@MidAmericaGroup.com Marvin Pomerantz's career of entrepreneurial and managerial successes include leadership positions in companies such as: Great Plains Bag Corporation, which he founded and later sold to The Continental Group, and the Diversified Group of International Harvester, where he served as Executive Vice-President of International Harvester. He served as Chairman and CEO of Gaylord Container Corporation until it was acquired by Temple-Inland in 2002. Teresa A. Wahlert President and Chief Operating Officer TWahlert@MidAmericaGroup.com Teresa Wahlert was named President and Chief Operating Officer of Mid-America Group in February 2004. She is responsible for overseeing the management team of Mid-America Group; Coldwell Banker Mid-America Group, Realtors; and Mid-America Commercial. Before joining the company, Ms. Wahlert was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. She has a Master of Science in Business as a Sloan Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She also holds a Master in Business Administration from Creighton University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Mary’s at Notre Dame. Carolyn H. Helmlinger President, Coldwell Banker Mid-America Group, Realtors® CHelmlinger@MidAmericaGroup.com Carolyn Helmlinger's primary responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day activities of all the real estate franchise operations including the 7 area residential real estate brokerage offices and Mid-America Commercial Real Estate. Carolyn was formerly Vice President, Affiliate Services Director, Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation and a graduate of Cleveland State University. Carolyn joined the company in 1999. Larry Cedarstrom President, Mid-America Commercial Real Estate LCedarstrom@MidAmericaGroup.com Larry Cedarstom serves as President and Sales Manager of Mid-America Commercial Real Estate; joining the company in 2006. Larry comes to Mid-America Commercial Real Estate from a background of over 30 years in commercial brokerage both as a practicing agent and agent manager. Larry’s expertise in all areas of commercial real estate has earned him the respect of the commercial brokerage community. Hank A. Anderson Vice President, Controller HAnderson@midamericagroup.com Hank Anderson, a native of Mason City, has been in the real estate industry for two decades. He joined Mid-America Group from Regency Companies where he was the Director of Finance. Prior to Regency Anderson worked as the Director of Financial Reporting for Commercial Real Estate at Principal Financial Group. Hank graduated from the University of Iowa with degrees in Finance and Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accounts and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Bradley A. Long Vice President, Strategic Development BLong@MidAmericaGroup.com Brad Long joined the company in 2003 and serves as the Vice President of Strategic Development. His primary responsibilities include expanding and progressing Mid-America Group's leadership position in real estate, while further positioning the company's services and partnerships within the marketplace. The former Mayor of Grimes (1994-2002), Brad has a diverse background in both the public and private sector. Steven M. Coleman Vice President, Property Management SColeman@MidAmericaGroup.com Steve Coleman has been with Mid-America since 1985. He has responsibility for property management and coordinates the design and approval processes for construction of industrial and office buildings. He also manages land development projects. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Central Iowa. For nine years at Coldwell Banker Mid-America Group, Realtors®, she headed up a top notch creative team of graphic artists and marketing specialists with a philosophy and dedication to partnering with the sales associates to increase their effectiveness and therefore grow and strengthen the company. Together they created marketing strategies that got results. Julie is now focusing her energy at Mid-America Group on developing the company brands and increasing the awareness of the Mid-America Group and all it subsidiaries. Kent Allison Director of IT, Mid-America Group, Vice President IT, Coldwell Banker, Mid-America Group, Realtors® KAllison@midamericagroup.com Kent has been with the Mid-America Group and Coldwell Banker Mid-America Group, Realtors® since 1995 and has been in the technology field since 1990. He has served in all roles of the technology department and is currently responsible for all new technology initiatives within the community. Paul Clowser Business Analyst PClowser@MidAmericaGroup.com Paul Clowser joined Mid-America Group in 2004 as Business Analyst. His immediate challenge is to consolidate and integrate information technology throughout all the Mid-America Group companies. Paul also provides consultation to tenants and clients regarding their technology plans and solutions. Paul graduated from Iowa State University in 1989 and began his career at Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., followed by Wells Fargo Financial and owned his own computer consulting company.
